Networking
Dependable, Secure and Flexible Connectivity — Built on Ubiquiti UniFi
Strong, secure networking is the backbone of every modern business. Whether you're standing up your first office or connecting dozens of locations, the right network keeps your team productive in the office, on the road, and at home.
NuSI is a Ubiquiti-focused consultancy. We design, deploy, and support networks built on the Ubiquiti UniFi platform — so you get enterprise-grade performance and a single, intuitive interface to manage it all.

UniFi's integrated gateway and firewall give us the tools to keep your traffic clean and your perimeter tight.
- Identity-Based Access — We integrate UniFi networks with your identity provider so your team gets seamless, modern sign-in to network resources.
- Network Segmentation — We isolate IoT devices, guest traffic, and sensitive systems onto separate VLANs so a compromise in one area can't reach another.
- Built-In Threat Detection — UniFi's IDS/IPS inspects traffic against a continuously updated threat-signature database, flagging and blocking known bad actors automatically.
- VPN Access — Site-to-site and client VPN options keep remote workers and branch offices connected over encrypted tunnels.
UniFi is designed as a software-defined network, which means consistent policy and consistent experience across every site we deploy.
- One Controller, Every Site — Whether you have one office or a hundred, your team sees the same SSID, the same login, and the same performance everywhere.
- High Throughput — UniFi's gateway and switch lineup supports multi-gigabit throughput, so your network doesn't become the bottleneck as your team grows.
- Scales With You — Add access points, switches, and sites without replatforming. The controller grows with you.
- High Availability — We design with failover in mind. If a gateway or switch falters, traffic reroutes and your team keeps working.
- No Recurring License Fees — UniFi hardware doesn't require per-device or per-user licenses to operate, which is genuinely rare in this category. You buy the gear, you own it.
- Future-Ready — UniFi's hardware and firmware roadmap keeps pace with new standards (Wi-Fi 7, multi-gig, etc.), so the foundation we build today doesn't become tomorrow's rip-and-replace.
Architecture and Design
We use Ubiquiti professional WLAN design tools to map your space, run predictive coverage models, and place access points where they'll actually work — not where they're convenient. Site surveys, heatmaps, and capacity planning are part of every deployment, so you get reliable coverage today and headroom for what's next.
Frequently Asked Questions
We focus on Ubiquiti. That focus means we know the platform's strengths, its quirks, and how to design around both. You get a partner who's deployed UniFi across small offices and multi-site organizations and can recommend the right gear without overselling.
UniFi is our core platform because we believe it offers the best balance of capability, ownership cost, and manageability for most businesses. When a project genuinely calls for something else, we'll tell you.
Networks need ongoing care — firmware updates, security patches, capacity adjustments, and the occasional troubleshoot. Outsourcing that to us is typically more cost-effective than hiring internal IT, and you get the full team's experience instead of one person's.
UniFi itself doesn't carry recurring per-device licensing. The only ongoing cost is optional managed services from us — monitoring, updates, and support — which we price transparently.
We offer ongoing support packages with remote monitoring and troubleshooting. Most issues get resolved before you notice them. When on-site work is needed, we coordinate a visit quickly.
